Timothy Christian Church (DoC) has been active in ministry since the late 1800's. We are part of the covenant of churches that make up the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This branch (denomination) is one of three to come from the Stone-Campbell movement that emerged on the U.S. frontier during the early 1800's.
We are a church that emphasizes freedom of thought (with responsibility), mission, restoration (centrality of Scripture), and ecumenism (Christian Unity). We understand, and even enjoy, the variety of God's creation. No matter what our differences in being or in opinion we are all invited to share equally at the Lord's table.
Our worship is traditional to the area, with Gospel rooted hymns, an active choir, and open table Communion every Sunday.

The community gathered for the worship of God as revealed through Christ is central to who we understand ourselves to be. Gather with the community of faith for worship (in a traditional service and/or through study).
